How about 3 family members being all stars? Gleason, Putzeys, Carpenter--any others?

In 2000 both Tyler and Kendell Newman placed in the top 12 in the league meet. Isn't that the criteria for all stars?

Thanks, Joni! It WAS the top 12 then, with the coaches having the option of voting in deserving others. The number of all-stars and the selection process changed this year.

So Tyler and Kendall is at least one example.

And as far as three family members being all-stars, I suspect the Forbes family might earn that honor. In fact, I believe both Armard and Gordon were on state champion relay teams. It would really be something to have three state champs in the same family.

It may have changed to top 12 after 2000. Not sure. Was it top 10 in 2000?

Armand and Gordon were indeed on state title relays (4x400 and 4x100 respectively).

For those old Suburban League folks out there, the Drew family had 4 scorers at the Class Meet level - Steve, John, Ellen, and Michael, and there may have been a fifth in a relay.

Maybe Josh can answer if there have been any families with 3 All State winners in Mass.
