On another note entirely, the race featured a team competition, and the eternal struggle between Newton South and Lincoln-Sudbury continued...
222 34:37 Andrea Keklak Lincoln Sudbury Warriors
223 34:38 Kathy O'Keefe Team Newton
...
226 34:46 Marika Crowe Lincoln Sudbury Warriors
227 34:47 Melanie Fineman Team Newton
Teams consisted of two men and two women, and Team Newton came out on top with Xhulio Uruci and David Melly running 27:40 and 28:21, respectively.

I was working at the race, so I got to see doug race in between loading water bottles. He looked great, didn't start off too fast but came home strong not too far behind Ashe and the BAA runner. Great run
does anyone know if the course was back to its normal 5 mile length/course. i think last year there was a slight change made.
Yes. Last year's course was totally different, start and finish. This year was back to the original Weston course.
Impressive run for Doug. I didn't think he'd tear it up this much.

Great to see how Doug has matured in his running and otherwise. He has always been a hard worker who really wants to be good. Now he is.
Great run Doug! Knew you had it in you and much more to come I hope!
