When I say I got lucky I mean that I really didn't even consider that there would be surges in the race. Rory and I didn't even really have any plan going in. It just worked out perfectly being in the back and being patient. And it is technically my second all american. 13th last year at outdoor ncaa's and the 7th or 8th american so that was the first all american award.Got the certificate for that but this one means a lot more to me. Thanks for the support Jon!

Great to hear from you, Chris! Thanks for the correction on the All-American awards. And a belated congratulations for last year.

I was actually very impressed that you had the confidence and poise to wait out the surges, not get discouraged, and then finish as strongly as you did.

Congratulations again to you, Rory, and Lee for a great showing. And good luck this spring!
