Blog Vacation: In the Wilds of Maine
The Blog is on a mini-vacation until Tuesday, May 27, as I spend the long weekend in Tremont, Maine, fighting off the black flies, and running on the fire roads.

Jon,
I know Tremont well from the days we would stop there on our way home from Nova Scotia. I believe the service road goes down to the Seawall campground in Acadia National Park. Speaking of Acadia, I hope you also got to run some of the park trails. My favorite loop starts at the Jordan Pond House. You head up to Blackwood Stables, by Bubble Pond, around Eagle Lake, then around Jordan Pond to your starting place.
