Harvard senior Jon Wofsy ran 48.21 for 400m at the IC4A championships, hosted by Princeton. Wofsy, whose PR stood at 49.01 only two weeks ago, ran his third consecutive race at 48.25 or better.
Chris Barnicle finished 2nd to New Mexico teammate Jacob Kirwa in the 5000m at the Mount West Conference outdoor championships. While his time of 14:49.21 doesn't look impressive, the meet was held at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, which is 7163 above sea level. The NCAA considers the qualifying standard for the 5000 to be about 42 seconds slower than at sea level, and Chris met that standard.
